As a Marriage and Family Therapy Resident, I specialize in helping couples and families heal from relational distress, rebuild emotional connections, and foster secure, lasting bonds. I support couples navigating betrayal, communication breakdowns, sexual concerns, intense conflict, and ambivalence about staying together. I also work with multicultural couples and newly engaged partners preparing for marriage through premarital counseling.
My approach is rooted in attachment-based, trauma-informed, and relational frameworks. I use evidence-based modalities such as the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. We will identify patterns, explore emotional needs, and work toward your relationship and personal goals in a collaborative and affirming space.
I am passionate about providing culturally responsive care for LGBTQIA+ individuals, polyamorous/ENM communities, and kink-affirming clients. With over a decade of experience in mental health services and nearly 500 direct client hours in couples and family therapy, I bring a deep understanding of relational dynamics, grief, trauma, and intergenerational issues. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion, helping you move toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.
Let’s start the journey together—your story matters, and healing is possible.
Trained in: Gottman Levels 1 and 2 and Gottman's Treating Affairs and Trauma.
